Health

KabadaSN, a region encompassing approximately 197 villages, faces a severe healthcare crisis. Currently, only eleven village health posts serve this vast area: Diallo Kunda, Boudouck, Ndiamakouta, Bhogal, Seno, Tankon, Sare Alkali, Madina Demba, Sinchu Madi Mbye, Djinanny, and Touba Faal. Crucially, the region has no hospital.

Critical Under-resourcing: The stark disparity between 197 villages and only 11 health posts, coupled with the complete absence of a hospital, highlights the acute shortage of healthcare facilities.
Limited Access: This scarcity translates to severely restricted access to essential medical services for a large population.

Geographic Isolation: Residents often must travel long distances to The Gambia or Ziguinchor for hospital referrals, placing a heavy burden on already vulnerable communities. The lack of a local hospital magnifies the severity of this problem.

Help us bring vital healthcare to the people of KabadaSN. Your contributions can make a life-changing difference. Every donation brings us closer to providing essential medical services and improving the quality of life for those in need. It is critical to remember that these 11 health posts must provide care for approximately 197 villages. This vast difference in numbers, combined with the absence of a hospital, creates a situation where many people are unable to receive the critical care that they need.”
